I wouldn't say that they have any more or any less than a comparable equipped car. Parts is parts, so the story goes.

I can't think of anything that would cause them to have more electrical parts than anything else. good luck

Not at all. All cars have to have a bunch of engine electronics to manage emissions/smog, and that stuff must be maintained. However engine electronics are very reliable and easy to troubleshoot (the computer tells you what's wrong, pretty much.)

Really, I find that the electrical stuff that goes out in cars is more likely to be the "comfort and convenience" stuff put in the doors, passenger area, etc. CD players stop working, power mirrors go out, electric locks and keyless ignition go on the fritz. That's true of any car, I'm not picking on Saturns.

no more than any other car out there right now. Its a GM. you'll have to fix it all the time LOL.
