I love both cars but can only have one,I nedd a car thats safe but powerful
I love the sound of a mustang but I also like the sound of a wrx lol
this is reallllly hard to choose
someone help me out

STI hands down. Both cars are safe and powerful but the STI is much more fun to drive. It handles better and performs better. Fords reputation is bad and Subarus will last until 200,000 miles no problem. Plus, 2005 was the first year for the new body style and you never want to buy the first year body style. Plus, All-Wheel Drive on the STI can't be beat.

The 2005 subaru STI and WRX is the same car as the 2004 so if your looking to save go a year older. As far as the car goes, The STI is everything but a bad car. Some basic features are a 2.5L turbocharged boxer 4 engine ( i love the boxer 4), stock brembo brakes, stock 17'' BBS rims, an awesome intereior, the best AWD in the business, and also the spoiler which has been engineerd for the car. As far as the WRX, im buying one in a few weeks, it is an 02'. In my opinion the WRX is for the guy who wants an STI but maybe cant afford one, or wants to build the speed on his own. Still a very fast car and will smoke just about any honda or mitsubishi on the road (excluding the evo). Hope this was some help to you and good luck with your search

That is a tough call.
What features are more important to you? I think the WRX STi will be better in rain and snow, vs. the Mustang with rear wheel drive.
However, nothing like being able to smoke the rear tires and nothing sounds like a V8 blasting down the road.
Also, thinking about your question - one non-performance comment. I think the two cars are for two different "types" of people. And, I don't mean that in a negative way. After fashion and music, I think cars are something we as Americans choose based on the image we have of ourselves. Some people are "truck guys", some people drive environmentally conscious cars like the Toyota Prius. That said, I think the WRX and the GT appeal to very different personalities. Performance and reliability issues aside, I think you will make a decision based on the image you have of yourself and which one "fits" better with your personality.

Well, looking up the specs on each...
The WRX STI has 300hp and 3300lbs but the biggest advantage...All wheel drive.
If you are not a die-hard Mustang enthusiast...the I'd say go with the WRX.

That would be a tough decision, those 2 cars are so different u cant really compare them.
If you want a car that looks good, buy the mustang, It looks almost as good as a classic muscle car.
If u don't care what the car looks like, get the subaroo. Its has all the qualities of a toyota corolla, but it turns into a sports car when you floor the accelerator.

I would go with the WRX!
All wheel drive, 293 Horse and Subaru's excellent reputation for problem-free cars.
Compare that to 300 HP and ford's lousy reputation, but the GT is roomier.

These are really two different cars. Both very nice cars, and powerful. If you like more feel more torque I would go with Mustang.

Definitely get the STI, better gas mileage, probably cheaper insurance, subarus hold value much better than a ford, subarus also have the highest safety rating on all of their cars in every class.

it depends if you want to drive a mans car or a boys car, men drive mustangs, boys drive rice burners
