so i fixed the trans and got a new one and it seems like it still is not shifting right.....it is automatic........when i got it back from the mechanic after repairs ........i drove it home and at every stop light and stop sign it would die and completly shut off....................it is a battery or a possible charge pipe or something else......now it is sitting in my driveway completly dead.......................

also any ideas on how i can make it faster once i get it running would be great....it's already turbo

hey i just boughta used automatic turbo get eclipse with 70,000 on it .......having probs with it already and i wanna keep it if i can.......i already replaced the water pump, head gaskets adn put a brand new trans in it and it is completely dead....doesn't start......................should i take the time to fix it or junk and get a cobalt ss

Our car is having problems, it frequently has a problem where the car won't start. Like it has a dead battery or no power. I really don't know what to do. The last time the dealership checked and it had a bad cell in the battery. They changed the battery and it worked for awhile. Now my wife went on a trip and she is stuck with the car and it won't start again.

I recently traded my '00 Ranger for a '01 Galant V6 (auto) LS. The other day I noticed a "loping" sound as I accelerated my car through the gears. It's only when the car is under load I can hear the "loping" but not when the car is in park or when I'm at a stop (idle).

Btw, when the car is in neutral/park the motor revs fine w/out any loping.

Also, when the car is in gear and I'm at a complete stop I can hear a very low level but loud harmonic resonance throughout the car (almost like very deep bass). If I put the gear into neutral/park (i.e., no load on the motor) the harmonic resonance goes away. Suggestions?

This person had told me that the spoiler costed him about 300 dollars? and turn signal lights costed him about 135 dollars. He also told me that turn signal lights were clear ones, but I cannot seem to find any pictures of clear 3000Gt turn signal lights, they are all yellowish or orangish. If anyone could help me find a link that has picture of clear turn signal lights for 3000gt, i would be grateful. Please answer if the prices he listed seemes reasonalble, and thank you for reading my question.

P.S. He said the soiler and turn isgnal lights were athentic ones. For normal models. stocked.
