Check your idle settings. If it is idling too low, it will stall out. Also, if you run your car hard, you may have disconnected a vacuum hose giving air to the engine. This can also lead to stalling. Check your hoses, and your idle.

The idle is ontrolled by the ECU and is not adjustable on most cars after about 1998. Vacuum hoses are minimal on most new cars as computer technology has made air intake and bypasses a thing of the past.
The throttle position or idle speed sensor may be at foult.

Is your check engine light on? Are you still under warranty?
Get it diagnosed and buy the part.

Don't worry about it. You usually turn the car off after you put it in park anyway.

ok is there a engine light on if so have that checked, and poss a plugged trans cooler
