If I were thinking of doing this kind of swap, I'd go to the junkyard and try to find a similar car with a stick and take all of the parts necessary. If you're not thinking of doing the job yourself, you're looking at big money. It might be more cost efficient to try and find a used Mirage with a standard transmission and buy it.

Remember that there are many small "nit picking" little things that you're going to have to address. there's the cooling line for the automatic transmission that have to be blocked off, a possible crossmember swap, clutch linkage (including a possible slave cylinder to be added), shift linkage and a host of other little things that will make the job demanding.

You would be better off buying one with a manual trans to start with. In the long run, it would cost less and work better.
