OK, if you do not hear the squeaky sound when you break it is probably not your breaks for one thing. But if you hear a sound coming when the car is moving it could be a number of things. If you have hub caps check to see if there is a rock in there or something else rattling around when the car is going. It could also be your shocks or stouts too. You say it sounds like it is coming from the drivers side, does this sound make more noise when you go around corners? If so it could very well be your shocks, push your car down in front and see now much of a bounce back you get. If it doesn't move much you need shocks. Now for another thing it could be, is this a squealing sound? When you are just sitting in your car with the car turned on turn the stirring wheel all the way one way then all the way the other way and if it squeals either way it is your power steering. If so, check your power steering fluid. It might just be low and adding some could fix the problem. If it is not low then you have a problem that specialist needs to fix. Power steering fluid is very flammable and if you have a leak that is not good. Anyway that is my suggestion for checking out what it could be for yourself. If this does not help, take someone for a ride and see what they think.

Well since this is a new car, the break pads should still be OK. Remember squeaking can be caused by dirt or grit that has been caught up in the break pads. Also some new cars do squeak when new, because they need to be played in a little. Some pads have a coat or a glaze over them. Once this protective layer rubs off you should be squeak free. If it is really irritating you then take it to a mechanic and he could manually remove the glaze or protective coating for you at a cost.! It is up to you. Good Luck

Get used to the squeak. Also, try spraying the calipers and rotors behind the front wheels with a water hose and then driving the car and applying the brakes. The water will take a few test brakes to burn off like when you go through a mud puddle on the road.

I guess i want to ask how long ago did you change them out. Im thinking they are the front right??? IF they are down yu have a squeker that tries to let you knw that the pads are down and to change them out. if they are new then there is a chance that the ears on the pads were not tapped in to form a good fit there fore causeing no slippage of the pad when the calipers expand stopping the car. There are products tha you spray on the backs of the pads its basically a glue that holds the pad in ;oace and of course the backing inserts help to elemaniate squeek. If your pads are new let em break in if not have em checked for meat on the pad at 50% down or if they are the same height as the backing plate of the pad then change em they will be gone soon. You may wannt to look at your wheel bearings also have they been packed lately??? always good to do it when yu change out the brake pad.

It's the brakes wearing in. This is normally for new cars. If it keeps happening a 1 week later take it back.

they might be glazed over. they can take the pads off and deglaze them and add squeak pads. deglazing is just rubbing them with sand paper or on a rough surface. happens some times with new pads. squeak pads go between the back of the pad and the caliper. on a 2007 should be a simple fix if they are willing to do it

your brakes shouldnt be making that noise already on a 2007 unless they didnt install them right at that rate you will have to have your brakes redone before they damage your rotors andor your drums or cause you to have and accident
