I only have 3 chances then it don't work period.

sorry guys but the dealer wants $60.00 to give me the code to fix a 10 year old radio would buy a new one for the difference was hoping a yahoo buddy new the code

you cannot get the radio code by the vin # you have to go to the dealer to hook the car up to a computer which will read the code off the cars internal memory

Go to the dealer and have them bring the code up on they're computer system using the V.I.N. number, that is your best bet at getting the correct code. It may cost you a little bit, but at least that will be better in the long run.

Unfortunately, you need to take it to the dealer with registration in hand and your license and pay them to resource the correct code and input the code. They will in-turn give you the code for further use to be put in a safe spot(not in the car).
