Sounds like you enjoy your car.
As for the British Beef guy.... he may have more power, but no good when its in the garage all the time!!! at least the jap stuff works!
My old Evo IV was 280ps, but for the time is was cool (1997), nobody knew what it was.
Just run my Merc at factory spec now...boring.....581PS boring though!! HAHAHAH

If raw performance is what you want get the Evo or even better the STI.However, if you want a roomier car, go with the MS6. The MS6 is also more reliable than the Evo. I used to own an Evo and they aren't that reliable. Then again, what do you expect when you take a race car and make it street legal. The mpg is horrible on the Evo and it's flat out gutless if you shift before the boost kicks in. Heck Ralliart Lancers can run circles around you without the boost engaged. If you want reliability and Evo- like performance, go with the STI or even the MS3. Personally, I'd take the MS6. While it's not as fast as an Evo, it will be used as a daily driver more than a track car. That's where the MS6 beats the Evo and STI. The Evo actually is more on par with the Mazda 3. than a 6 platform. The 6 is more on par with the Galant in size. For the money, I'd still get the MS6.

Got an MG 6R4! Although by your choice of Chav crap you probably don’t have the brains to know what that is! Twin turbo ex works 750bhp honestly mate it would eat you! and my every day car is a tweaked TVR Cerbera 4.5 V8, which would again make you looking like a snail. 2 pure bread British power units!
You gotta get a descent car before you ask questions like that, stop reading max power/watching top gear and put your money into some good old British beef!!!

wwoooowww ooohhh aahhh
422 bhp, so about 330 wheel horsepower? what a joke. My STi is just under 600bhp on california 91 pisswater gas, and it is my commuter car.
oh and one of my mates has an HKS3037, 2.4l stroker kit, and a few other goodies on an EVO8 and EASILY makes 500whp on pump gas which is about 650bhp, the same evo did 613whp on 110 gas which is in the neighborhood of about 800bhp.
Let me guess you have cams, turbo back and remap and think you're cool? I like EVOs I just dislike toads.

Oh yeah. I've got a Honda Civic lowered, air intake, and a fart can muffler. SUPER FAST!!!!
Honda sucks, and I hate the idiots that think a fart-can muffler makes you a professional street racer.
Myself, I have an 01 Toyota Celica GT, AEM Air Intake, GReddy Evo 2 Catback Exhaust, and Hot Shot headers. Nothing dramatic performance-wise yet... I just got done with the "show" quality. have fun!
