Having owned the British model (3000GT) the twin turbo is 4 wheel drive. There is no such thing as a front wheel drive 3000GT although a couple of club members have converted their cars by taking out the prop to the rear wheels. (God knows why!). There is a lot of info on the 3000GT members club.GTOUK.ORG.

the 3000gt vr4 twin turbo never was made but 4wd the 3000gt sl came with a front wheel drive

No. Only AWD. Who would want an FWD car with that much power?? Not to mention it has All Wheel Steering. It is a DSM though so expect some trouble.

Anyways, the regular version and the SL only come in front-wheel drive. This would be the same with the Dodge Stealth and it's R/T.

i think its actually all wheel drive, i could be wrong. my buddy has a 3000gt (not vr4) and he said the vr4 is all wheel drive.

No, it is a unique feature on that model. The other two models, base, and the SL (which I have) are front wheel drive.
