Honda

Have a small problem with my honda CRV '98 model, runs great BUT the past month have had a problem with the bleeper for unlocking the doors [changed battery] and then it would work sometimes..........changed the fuse for all the doors now will not work but once every 20 / 30 times of being pushed.
The central lock button on drivers side also is only working every 1 in 10 [ish] times of being used.

Any ideas on fault finding please..husband away at sea and DREAD taking the thing to the garage without him being around.

Hello I have been having problems with my fuel system. The check engine light pops on all the time and I ignored it for a month or so. I had trouble starting my car for a few days so I changed the fuel filter... that didn't work. I put injector cleaner in with the fuel and I thought that it was cleared up. The other day it wouldn't start again. Now today my engine light came on when I was at a stop light and the rpm's dropped low and the car stalled out and wouldn't start. I gave it a try every 10 minutes for an hour and finally it started. I drove it home and parked it. I'm getting a code 43 (fuel system). What do you think it is? fuel pump?

I was turning onto a street with alottle bit of an inclline. It was drizzling not raining hard or anything and I press the gass to get up the hill and I lost power. I cant describe it but the car gave up it was on and everything but the gas pedal wasnt working. and then the yellow exclaimation point came on. but it was probably like a second and then it went up the hill fine and the gas pedal worked again? Shoudl I take it into the shop?

I have a 2001 Honda Civic four door LX vehicle. Ever since I had my car, which was bought new, my side airbag light would come on when people leaned too hard on my passenger door, and when I questioned them on it a long time ago, they said it was something all 2001 Honda's did and not to worry about it. However, the other day my SRS light came on. I look it up in the manual and noticed it had something to do with my airbag sensors. I don't want to take it to the dealership so they can charge me an arm and a leg to fix something like a fuse, so is there any other option? If my SRS light is on, is there a possibility that my airbags will randomly deploy for no reason. I know it may sound dumb, but knowing my luck that would happen to me. If I have to break down and go to the shop, do you know about how much it would cost me? Is there a way to turn it off, so I will not have to keep looking at it everytime I drive? Thanks for any information a head of time!

What a great car, i goth one for fathers day, it is so nice we took our 2007 Corolla and trade in for another 2007 Civic, the nex day they are just great, specially the 5 speed one on atomic blue thats mine, the other is automatic and silver.Recomended to anybody anybody feel the same way, im just in love with my car.

I have a 2003 Honda Civic EX Cp with a manual transmission and my clutch has been squeaking for the pass month. It doesn't start until i've been driving for about 5 minutes. After that, whenever I depress the clutch it squeaks. I'm just wondering what I need done to it. I haven't have time to take it in to have it checked out.

I mean they are terrible. They have small 2 liter engines. Their engines burn up if you do anything with it. They're ugly. I could keep going on forever.

i am undecided on keeping 1999 honda civic(71K miles) or trading it in and getting something for it before its worthless. It is paid off, and runs fine, have had issues with exhaust, every 3 years ( in snow belt region ) and A/C going on me. How many more miles can i expect to get out of a Honda and also should i trade it in now while i can still get maybe 5K-6K for it, or stay free and clear of car payments now.

and my light in my car turned yellow which meant it was time for me to have an oil change b/c the regular color is green from yellow it went to red. mind u i've had my oil changed about 2 mths ago so then yesterday not only did the light turn red but my car started running hot so to make a long story short I got my oil changed todai and the oil was burnt oil it was black and yucky so he said I def needed an oil change it isn't running hot now but when I stop at a red light it goes hot again not smoking or anything but the indicator goes all the way to red.. what should i do? it's only when I stop then goes back normal should i put some anti freeze in it or does it sound like it needs to be fixed? thankss..

over the last two months i have been having trouble starting my car, since i have replaced the air filter, fuel filter, spark lines and plugs, starter, distributor cap, ignition coil, and rotor, i can hear my fuel pump make a buzz noise which means its pumping the fuel through the lines, some times when i start the car the cap will arc, other times it just will not fire up, the only things left i have to replace its the main relay and the fuel pump but before i do that i want to know is there anything else that would cause my fuel system to have low pressure, my problem is a mind boggler to all mechanics i have spoken with, any help would be important to me (this morning it started, yesterday i could not get it going, no temp is associated with the problem)

My car has 90,000 miles but it runs good , never had any problems with it , I'm not that big on cars so i wanted to see what could i do to maybe give it a little power , i don't want to put nos in there cuz that is only a temporary boost and it cost too much to try and supercharge a car so i want to know what little things here and there i can do to make my car feel more powerful and fast when i want it , I'm not trying to get all Fast and furious just trying to feel more power with my car.

ok heres the deal i started my car fine, i drove out of the driveway and it died. now it wont start. it does that eerrrrrr, eeerrr i guess what a 1998 honda civic would sound like when it wants to turn over but it doesnt. theres oil in the car and the battery just got tested good. im not sure what it could be. can anyone help or give suggestions.
