I brought a 2003 chevrolet montecarlo with 64000 miles and the price was 8000 with everything included. It's a regular montecarlo. Some people at my job told me that i have a motor mouth problem. The check light is on and in the message box it says something like Pressure tire is too low. i wanna know if i should keep the car or just spend some money to repair it. How much you guys think i'm going to have to spend. I thought the dealer had to checked the car before they sell it. It's not giving me any problems nor but If you are a mechanic tell me what you think. i brought it at coral spring auto mall.

I already asked this question about how my Wiper Blades are banging against the plastic piece when they are on, and the arc that they sweep is too large... I called Autozone and they said i can adjust the arc by adjusting some toothed gear inside there... But i have no clue what to do... Can anyone help please? What do i need to take apart? How can i do it?

The first start the car starts right up. If I turn it off and then immediately restart it, it was start fine. If I let the car sit for 20 minutes or so, the car will start but run poorly (like it is flooded), Usually dies and then is very hard to restart. If I can keep it running (remember it sounds flooded) for a few minutes it works its way through its problems and will run fine until the next time. I put a new starter on it but that has not cured the problem. Any suggestions??

I have an 89 camaro. It has a ground kit on it, couple chips on the fender but nothing too serious.. no rust, well taken care of, automatic, about a 100,000 miles on it, brand new tires.. but I cracked the block in the motor. It still runs but the engine is about to blow out any day so I was wondering from someone else's perspective and hopefully someone who knows a little about cars unlike myself if it's even worth trying to sell and getting some kind of money for because I do not want to spend the money for a new motor right now and just bought an 07 cobalt anyways..

If you think I could still sell it, how much do you think it would be worth?

I just bought a brand new 07 chevy cobalt LT it had 8 miles when I drove it off the lot and I absolutely love my car. It has power everything.. except seats. And it has a remote start already.. I was thinking about getting an LS though instead which was $2,000 cheaper and being a female I don't know the difference so I was just wondering what the difference in an ls and lt is on the 07 cobalts? Thanks =)

I picked up a 3.4L DOHC 24-VALVE GM V-6 automatic engine out of a '91 Chevy Lumina Z34 at the junkyard that I plan on rebuilding to put into my '91 Chevy Cavalier Z24. I was wondering if there is a manual transmission that will fit on this motor? Keep in mind that I am rebuilding this motor to hopefully get back to it's original 275HP that it was supposed to have. Maybe more. So I want to make sure that I'm not going to end up blowing the transmission. Plus will this motor fit the factory motor mounts or am I going to have to switch those too? Thank you for your time and help in this matter.

for cheap, it's butt ugly...but it runs....no 350, what is under the hood ...a 302 or 305?....it's automatic...how hard would be to switch to 5 or 6 speed?...is that expensive?...we might do a lowrider with 6 switches or air suspension with 13 inch rims and low profile tires...we never seen a Nova low rider...we were wondering if a supercharger can fit under the hood?...also can we fit a 427, 454, 502, or 540 v-8's in there....what size rim and tires came standard?...we think that it is sitting 15's...bald tires and no hubcaps.....we wonder if 20 inch rims could fit?...for a alternate look

My husband was in an accident two weeks ago. His cruise control kicked in by itself, then would not disengage. My husband tried hitting the off button, and jamming the brakes, to no avail, the car continued to accelerate. We had a 2004 Chevy Malibu, which is now totaled because my husband went into a gully in order to avoid a head on collision with a semi truck. Anyone else have this kind of problem with a Chevy? Husband got a ticket for Failure to Control, in which we are trying to fight. We have already checked for recalls, there were none for anything electrical. And thankfully my husband managed to walk away from the accident.

Just out of plain curiosity, what is the difference between the 1995 body style 5.6 liter Z-28 and the 3.4 Liter v-6 Camaro? I mean, i know the Z has the trademark Z-28 stickers, but in terms of overall body style, if i got a Dual Exhaust on there, perhaps a Ram Air kit, and buy the Z-28 stickers am i okay? Or is there more to it? Lastly, my car has 168k on it, i bought it for 1500 dollars, is it worth it? How much Horsepower does the stock 3.4 V6 have? Thanks alot guys...

It started out just shaking a little when I accelerated up to about 60 mph. I went and had the tires balanced, thinking that might be the problem. It wasn't. Over time the shaking got worse. One mechanic told me to change my EGR valve. It didn't help. Now accelerating up to 50 makes the car shake rather violently, and even at 25 mph it'll start shaking. One friend told me it might be a tie rod problem, but I've already spent a lot of money on what the problem /isn't/ and I'm too strapped for cash right now to keep doing it. Any advice would be wonderful!

I have a 2001 Chevy Malibu and the breaks are not working as well as they should be. When I attempt to break my car shakes and giggles and doesn't stop right away. Sometimes it takes a lot to stop. When I get off the interstate highway (Route 80) the breaks really suck. Also, I went through a drive through last night while I was breaking I heard them clank and make some weird noises.
Obviously I have to get this checked out, which I am tomorrow. But do I need new break pads or something and does anybody know how much this will cost?
