On right rear corner of trans above the oil pan if 3rd digit is a letter "D" you have the 4l60e

THE 4L60E WAS THE ONLY AUTO OFFERED FOR THE 1/2 TON TAHOE

either 4l60e or 4l80e pan gaskets are different also 4l60e has big plug on passenger side of tranny close to rr

Yes, I'm pretty sure you do, but, to be certain you can visit or call your GM dealer (parts dept.) with your VIN & they can tell all the options including transmission from your RPO codes.
