i am on a fixed income. getting 730 p/month. everywhere i have found 1 has wanted anywhere from 700-1200 + shipping, handling, n taxes. please help!!!!

you can go to http://arrc.epnet.com/autoasp/index.asp?sid=271648142&uid=s1452768.main.autorefctr it is an auto reference center and will tell you common problems with the car/engine and how to repair. but if you are looking for a new gm engine type it in ebay http://search.ebay.com/ws/search/AdvSearch?sofindtype=13 that is a direct link to the advanced search page and then from there you go to price lowest to highest and type in the engine you need and the year of it you should get something out of that, enjoy.

Have you considered getting a used motor from a junk yard ? There's lots of wrecked S10s sitting around.

A salvage yard is a great place. Great salvage yards will even install it for you.
