Not to many years ago we were all reading and watching on tv the exploits of some very very young pilots doing some pretty miraculous flying for their age,, (to young to even have a drivers license).. who are they ? Where are they ? are they flying for a living today? They should all be out of college by now...

were going to disney and im not looking to make a call on the plane but more or less to possibly watch tv on my phone and to play multiplayer game. but mostly i want to turn my GPS on my phone on and look to see where we are over and how fast we are going. is it still illegal and could it interfere with the plane?

When the 777 was designed it showed a little bit of McDonnell Douglas (MD80 MD11) influence when the blade like tail cone was introduced. The A380 looks to have borrowed that same design with the exception of the aft APU exhaust duct. The blade tail cone was found to produce less drag.

The 787 however seems to lack this inovation.
Any body have a clue why?

Any era... 1930s to current day.

Not asking for which is the totally most powerful/manouverable.... but which you think has a name which invokes a sense of forboding/fear into any potential enemy.

It is no wonder so many airlines are going into bankruptcy. Why does American Airlines use their biggest plane to fly daily flights that are only 20% full. Did they make a deal with someone else to fly this route daily?

If so, can this energy expenditure be extrapolated to determine the energy required to fly a single human being in a way similar to those of birds?

I'm curious to know if the energy required for such an endeavor would be higher than what is currently used by fixed wing planes.

Not long ago I took my dad flying, and we were in a cessna 152. I weigh 230, and my dad weighs 240. Well when we went flying, everything was ok with the weight, the airplane flew beautifully. but i am doing the weight and balance and for the 150, and it says that the plane is137 pounds over weight. So what is wrong, b/c the 150, and 152 are pretty much the same thing.
