This has always puzzeled me, If a commerical jet kept climing up, would it go into space? At what point would it stop climing and what would happen. Also, if a say a 737 is half full, would go any quicker. Also, can a commerical jet fly upside down- just like in that movies.

If there is a snow storm at an airport would some flights be rerouted simply because of the type of plane that needs to land in the snow? If that is the case is it just a matter of size or do specific models do better in poor weather?

In my opinion, a pistonless rotary style engine would be ideal for an aircraft engine. They are smaller and weigh less than a piston engine of similar power so less drag, are reliable and most importantly can get much higher RPMs than pistons, and RPMs are what gets airspeed. Whats the deal?

Even world wide, emergencies at airports are rare, so the full time firefighters at a specific airport must be bored out of their mind.

What do they do all day ?

i had seen on History channel Dogfights TV show that during a fierce combat in air between an Egyptian MiG-21 bait that was trying to lure an israeli MirageIII into an ambush by 11 low flying Egyptian Mig-21s.
That during the Egyptian pilot's desperate escape he initiated a Split-S from 3000 Ft and it's supposed to perform such a manuever from 6000 ft, With a gaze of weird sheer luck, The Egyptian pilot barely managed to recover from it and went up engulfed in clouds of dust from the ground like a SAM Rocket, thats weirds, it was then tested by MiG-21s of israeli pilot over the Atlantic ocean in USA, they tried it perpetually but all in vain, they even used a calculator,,, All invain,, can you find a clue?
