why not at the front? like a dome. you can have a better view of front/top/down/left/right... when an aircraft climbs, at any angle of attack, it can be quite dangerous. he would not be able to see what is ahead of him, hence a collision might occur (taking the factor of radio out). this is real!... i know, it would be structurally weaker. but advancements in technology of materials has made it possible for stronger glasses. hence that eliminates the factor of structure... also, eliminate the reason of "previous aircraft have done it, i'm just following what has been done"...

this would be an interesting topic to debate on ;)

It's a well known fact in conventional airplanes the pilots seat is on the left, copilots on the right. This is reversed in helicopters. Where did the origin of the pilot being on the right hand side originate and the reason for it?

I fly with Jetblue A320 several time, everytime we land and stop in the gate I always heard this loud sawing sound from the belly of the plane. What is that sound? Is that a sound of someone trying to open the cargo hold to get to the baggage?
I don't think i ever heard it from any Boeing plane.

I have noticed that in the last few years many aircraft appear to change their direction of travel quite sharply, sometimes 30 or 40 degrees, but I have seen changes of direction of up to an amazing 90 degrees. Surely the pilot cant be lost, nor suddenly have a change of heart over the destination. I have noticed this particularly over the skies of North West England. I know there are 4 airports within 50 miles of here, but I dont think they are rreally changing destination airport. Surely the quickest way in the air is to go in a straight line.
