What can I do? I've already made 3 attempts, and they keep telling me they will send them out. I'ts been over a month since the last time I called! Now what!? I worked as a Loan Processor. I never got paystubs, it was always cash/checks. Can I file my taxes without them? Can't my former employer get in trouble for that?

it doesn't seem fair to me. i'm not saying that the government should only have 3 years to catch fraudulent files because obviously that would pretty much encourage people to commit tax crimes but if the government doesn't have a time limit to catch tax fraud, taxpayers should also have the ability to re-file for a mistake on taxes if it benefits us. for instance, if i found out that i incorrectly filed my taxes from 5 years ago and that if it was filed correctly that i would've gotten a bigger refund, why shouldn't i be able to collect on that? a mistake is a mistake whether it's 3 years or not, or whether it benefits the government of the people.

I have been offered a personal loan from a company that communicates to me from Toronto Canada, however, they say their home office is in New Hampshire. I can't find a listing for them in the states anywhere. First, they told me I had to pay for an insurance policy in case I defaulted. Now they are saying that I have to pay for an International Border tax. Does anyone know if that is legal or legitimate? Thank you.

I've been working as an independent contractor for the last threes years. I keep a log of the income I bring in and use that at tax time. (most of it cash, checks) However, last year I was issued a 1099 from a company that I did some consulting work for. For this year taxes I have the one 1099 from this company plus other cash income from the business. I heard having one 1099 form maybe a problem for the IRS. Is this correct? ANy advice would be greatly appreciated

My partners mother died a few years ago passing her two thirds of the family home onto my partner with my partners father owning the final third. They both resided in the house until recently when her father died leaving the final third to my partner. She was told that inheritance tax is liable on the entire property as her father had access to her two thirds of the home.Is this true?? .I consider this unfair as my partner was left her share by her mother and she has lived in the family home her entire life.We have searched everywhere on the web for answers but we cannot find a case like this, any help will do, thanks Rob

Do you have to pay federal income tax on the cash portion you receive from refinancing your mortgage? Does that fall under the capital gains category? Usually, what is the percentage, if any?

I MAY qualify as I am disabled, but it's not guaranteed as they only consider certain disablities. But why are under 25s being picked on? Let's say I was 21 and just graduated, I'd have huge debts from university but still be expected to pay exorbitant rates of tax..
I actually am not a graduate but am on a very low income, in more than one job, so 22% of all bar one of my jobs is taken off in tax. I also had to take out a loan to pay my council tax as I earn under £6000 a year.
