Does anyone know how to escape paying inheritance tax if your parents own a business and you work for them? I know there's a way around it by issuing shares in the company and possibly setting up offshore trusts. Anyone know?????

For instance I gave my tax records to a guy I new in the Navy. He got me to sign a Reinlistment loan for a bank but be added his million dollars to the loan, on my tax records. The whole thing is in credits. But on top of that the Navy added a Billion dollars of their own money on my tax records and it's in credits too. The thng is I'm getting paid to have a marriage scam.

I am 54 years old . I am an expatriate from the UK for 23 years never living there or working there since 23 August 1984. I now live in Philippines and I am married with Pilipino wife who only has Philippines passport. I have 3 children all with British nationality and British passports. They also have Pilipino passports. I have a girl 6 years old, a girl 4 years old, a boy one month old. I have just been diagnosed with a disease that will cause me to have to give up work due to ill health when I’m probably 60 years old. My mother had to stop working with same disease when she was 60 and my father finally had attendance allowance. I remember my mother and father both worked never unemployed in UK for 30 years but the government still refused for many years to pay them their allowances. So I am going to try and find out what I should do before I accept any job in UK as LTD Company or as Permanent Staff.

I have been paying my Class 2 self employed contributions to pay for my UK pension all the 23 years I have been abroad. These payments are fully paid up to UK Government.

A COMPANY IN UNITED KINGDOM OFFERED ME 50,000 TO JOIN THEM AS ENGINEER IN LONDON WITH STAFF AND PENSION PAID. Or 35 pounds an hour contract to an ltd company.

IS IT BETTER I JOIN THE PEOPLE STAFF OR AS CONTRACTOR. IF YOU ARE CONTRACT IN UK CAN YOU CLAIM FROM GOVERNMENT IF YOU ARE SICK OR NEED ATTENDANCE ALLOWANCES, CAN YOU CLAIM UNEMPLOYMENT BENFITS WHEN YOUR WERE WORKING PREVIOUSLY AS A LTD COMPANY. I HAVE AN UNDETECTABLE ILLNESS THAT WILL HIT ME 5 TO 7 YEARS TIME AND I'M THINKING OF WORKING IN UK AND GOING ONTO BENEFITS WHEN I GET SICK . I HAVE NEVER EVER BEEN UNEMPLOYED AND HAVE NO IDEA HOW I WOULD GO ABOUT FINDING OUT THESE THINGS IE HOW TO FIND OUT WHAT I COULD CLAIM IF I'M SICK IN UK. NOW IVE GOT 3 KIDS SCHOOLING WOULD BE FREE, MEDICAL FREE WOULD THEY PAY CHILDREN ALLOWANCES, RENTAL OR INTEREST ON MORTGAGE.

OR CAN I JUST GO TO UK WHEN I'M SICK IN 7 YEARS TIME AND CLAIM BENEFITS. MY MATE WENT HOME TO UK WITH HIS WIFE AND DIDN'T GET ANY MONEY FOR 2 YEARS HE WAS THERE.

WHERE CAN I FIND OUT SUCH INFORMATION? I REALLY HAVE NO IDEA.
WHAT CAN I CLAIM AND HOW MUCH THE VALUE WOULD BE.

About 10 yrs ago or more I worked for a salon that didn't take out my taxes... At the beging of the new year I recieved a 1099 thing. Not knowing or understanding how this worked I put this off til last minute On April 13th I went to this tax person( h&r block) and was told I'm going to owe $7500 in taxes. I didn't have that & I didn't even have the $150 dollars he needed to process this. He gave me this form to fill out an extension. I filled this out my self not knowing exactly what I was doing & sent this in. Since then I worked there 2yrs longer. The jobs I've had since take out taxes but i've never filed because i'm too scared to face the financial burden. I don't know how I can pay for this. I don't have any of my tax forms from my past employers. I don't know exactly what to do because some of those employers aren't even in business anymore. What's going to happen to me? How do I make this right? What can I do? Do I need an attorney? Do I need tax person like H&RBlock?

I know that if you sell a stock at a loss and buy it back within 30 days, the loss doesn't count towards your capital loss or short term loss. However, if you sell a stock at a gain and rebuy it within 30 days, does that gain count towards your short term or capital gains?

Hello, I have a barber working in my shop as an independent contractor, he has worked here for 3 years. He is about to go to court regarding child support, however, he recently informed me that he has not paid taxes in the 3 years that he's worked in my shop.

As an independent contractor he is obligated to handle his own taxes by himself or by a CPA, he also is supposed to turn in a 1099 MISC form for me to fill out for him.

I the, owner am only obligated to take the rent and fill out 1099 forms (if given) to me by the indepedent contractor. It is not my obligation to give out 1099's. I pay monthly city taxes on each rental station per month, otherwise the rent is pays the bills and returns a small income.

Anyways, I feel that I could receive trouble from state and IRS agents in the months and years to come because of this,

How are they going to determine his income without investigating my shop, etc....

Thanks in advance....

OK, last year, I had over $1,000 in church tithes. I gave it to the woman who did my taxes for last year, and she said the amount had to be $5,000 or more to be counted. My question is, can I count that money from last year toward this year's taxes, if I do them myself over the Internet?

I don't want to get audited or get arrested over this, I'd just like to know. Thank you.

I have a video camera for which I had paid 900 dollars a couple of months ago. GST and PST account for a 100 dollars of that amount. I want to sell the video camera on ebay , I think I will get only about 400 dollars. Can I get a refund of the GST and PST paid on the excess amount? (900 - 400 = 500 dollars , 15% of 500 is 75 dollars)
