The tax value of my property is less than the assessed value done when i bought the property less than a year ago. Even though this lowers my yearly tax bill, will i be caught later on when i try and sell the place? What are the pro's and con's (if any) of having a difference between the assessed value and tax value of a property?

Hello,
I live in Chicago, IL. I would like to start selling on ebay as a business. I would like to buy from wholesellers and resell. The problem is, I dont know anything about taxes. I have just observed that my social security statement shows 0's for the past few years. I receive payments for work that I do online through paypal. I will have made well under $1000 by the end of the year. I have no other job. How will I file my taxes? I am usually used as a dependent on someone else's taxes, but will not have tax forms this year, so what do I do? Also next year I will doing the same line of work and will probably make around $10,000 will this change anything besides being able to be counted as a dependent? Please help. I sincerely think that low earners should pay less tax and high earner should pay higher tax. However in the UK it is the opposite. Dont you think that this issue should be addressed seriously? Please keep your view points posted......
