If I could show you a business that is both moral and ethicl...that you can work 7 to 10 hours a week...and earn an extra $1,000, $2000, or even $5,000 or more in continuing monthly income....would you have any interest?

Hi Just wanted to tell everyone about my experience with a UShip Provider, so nobody else gets scamed. The person's user name is 2ukwik, East to west Express, the guys name is Michael Knight. We used him once, and were successful, so when he contacted me with something he thought would interest me, I didn't hesitate to use his services outside of USHIP. I gave him the $ 3000.00 he asked for so he could pick it up for me, and to make a long story short, he never delivered my parts, and he never refunded my money, and after repeated phonecalls to him, listening to all of his excuses for 3 months, he diconnected his phone services. I just want people to know!! Tell everyone you know!! Thank You

We're living in one of the poorer countries in the European Union right now. We only have a tiny apartment, but we do have a car, and a little extra money to put into savings each month- if we don't go out too often- However, I'm thinking of heading back to the States, but spouse isn't sure because we'd be starting with practically nothing except the few thousand we have in savings. I want to know if it's a good time to move back to the States, or if we'd better hold off. Is the U.S. in for a recession? Where can I get solid financial advice about this?

Should there be limitations on giving credit to those who are obviously in trouble. Should they be allowed to charge any finance charge or interest rate they choose? Why is this allowed?

well im 21 years old, and ever since I started working at the age of 14, I have got into serious debt, for instance when i was 16yrs, I ran my cell phone bill to $500, and never paid them because i couldnt afford it, i was working part time while in school, so it went sky high. When I was 19 I finaced a car, and lost my job, and my car got reposed, on top of that I had a student loan that couldnt pay either, thats just a little of my problems, I am about $20,000 in debt, and collectors keep harrasing me. I was never taught how to manage my money, my parents never even care to teach me about saving, or buying stuff i can afford. Now that im older and understand how to manage my money, and want to fix my credit, I want to file for bankrutcy. I did all my research on Bankruptcy and everything, I just need someones else opinion!! Please help, what should I do?

Thank You

I have a couple of SIPs of some top rated funds(ref. Value Research Online). But currently when I check at my ICICI Direct account, all are going through huge negative returns. Will it be a good option to invest some extra on those funds assuming that future rise in NAV will give me good returns ? Please suggest as I have very less knowledge about the market.

I have a mate who knows he's a bit crap at looking after his paperwork, late work expenses, ATM slips in a big pile, unclaimed receipts, you know the sort of thing. The issue is not one of cash, it's a subtle and painless behavioural shift required. If I try to help, I'm sure he will "glaze over" - So, does anyone know a free basic/practical advice website that's light and simple enough to follow (maybe even with a bit of humour), with useful and practical tips on managing personal finances, so he might get the enthusiasm to sort out the bills and paperwork?

I used to bank with Lloyds, but I got horrendously into debt (mostly with them) so I started a Debt Management Plan and swapped to another bank.

I have two accounts still open with Lloyds with some money in, but they are obviously frozen and I cant use them. I pay money every month to my debt but obviously stil in arrears with them. Before I changed banks, I had got a few charges for being overdrawn etc etc, not many to be fair but also have had charges for being late on payments with debt - I dont know if that can be claimed back.

I just wondered if I send one of those letters to Lloyds asking for my charges back, what will they do because I owe them money.

Does this question make sense? I hope so.

I bought a car in December 2006, and my aunt cosigned for me. I put 20,000 down and the principal remaining now is about $27,000. I am making the payments and I'm the primary owner of the car. I live in Virginia and she lives in Maryland. What happens to my car and my credit if she files bankruptcy? and will this appear on my credit report? She didn't file bankruptcy yet, but I am just so afraid. Please help me out.
Thank you.

Where is the best place to get an auto loan for $25000.00 online? I've considered Eloan and Capitalone... any others? I wanna stay away from lending tree as I don't want to have a load of credit inquiries. I don't want to go through the dealer either.

I have a 401K plan through my current job (a crappy retail job; I have a soon-upcoming government job I've been hired for). It's not a lot of money in there...as they don't pay that great. "Total assets" of about $440 according to the site (Vanguard). It's a stupid "Office Depot Retirement Savings Plan 401K". I'm of course probably leaving this job soon...or will just keep it as a side job about 1-2 days a week for a little extra money. I know I can 'roll over' the 401K probably, to whatever 401k the gov job has. But I'd rather just take the money (if possible, by drawing it out somehow?) and pay something with it. I need to get a car soon. I'm still quite young...not going to 'retire' in life, anyway. I plan on working 'til the day I die. How can I draw this out in tangible form? It's a "Vanguard LifeStrategy Moderate Growth Fund". 40% bonds, 60% stocks. Will they try to make me 'pay it back' if I do? Isn't it *mine*? I've heard of this happening, though. Thanks.

I am new at doing my income taxes, but I know some people end up owing the IRS. I want to know what are some reasons why people end up owing instead of recieving a refund. My boyfriend is one of those people who has had to pay for the past two years......well, that's how long I've known him. Someone speculated that it's probably because he travels so much, he spends more than he makes. Can someone please explain further....

I'm currently renting, which leaves me with money left over to invest in my company's 401k. I'm considering purchasing a home, but won't have much money left over to invest.
Although I'm "throwing away" money on rent, I'm assuming my 401k will someday be worth more than any house I would ever own.
Any input would be appreciated.....
