I have signed a bond with the company for four years and earn a scholarship of around 10,000/- whenever I apply for a personal loan it gets rejected as my payslip shows my designation as student. and my payslip shows my salary as scholarship. is there any bank which would give us personal loans based on our income? I've been in this company for 2 years now

Islam teaches against usury. It says that paying interest on financial loans is wrong. When you open a bank account in Islamic countries, is there really any place where you get no interest on a deposit or pay no interest on a loan? For instance, in Saudi, if you borrow money from your bank, how does the system work?

The questions are:
1. How much do you normally receive for an income tax refund?
2. How do you usually spend it? (i.e. pay bills, big items you may not otherwise be able to afford, investments, etc.)
3. How long does it usually take for you to spend it all?

This is a survey for a school paper, so I'm not using any names of any kind, just statistical numbers for analysis.

Thanks for your help,
Diane

I received quite a few target gift cards and wondered if I could use them to pay on my credit card? I looked on their site but you can only pay by a bank account.

TIA! :)

I am 19 years old, and a freshman in college. I plan on getting a job sometime soon this next semester, possibly at CVS as a Cashier. Money is tight around here, considering my single mother is supporting me through college. I want to put money in my checkings account. But I also want to save a few thousand to help pay for tuition and such. Are there any suggestions? How should I split up my money? Get piggy banks (i might spend it) or put it all in my checking account? Any better jobs that I can work full time, and have flexible hours? I need all the advice I can get!

I am 16 and need a better way to keep track of what I spend moneywise (and my parents are willing to back me up). I have thought of maybe a credit card, debit card, or checkbook. I am using cash right now and I do not really spend that much because I like to have a certain amount of money with me for a sense of security. I would like to know a better and easier way to keep track of what I spend and the pros and cons of each way.

Someone please help!

I am a nj resident and I own a home that is appraised at $320,000. I have a mortgage of $240,000 and a judicial lien of $60,000 on the home. They are forcing a foreclosure because of the judicial lien and I want to somehow get rid of the lien. Should I file for bankruptcy. NOt sure if Chapter 7 will help because the judicial lien is a secured claim. Also, not sure if Chapter 13 will help because I will have to pay back the $60,000 and max they allow is 5 year repayment plan and so I will have to pay $1000 each month. Any way around this? Do they allow me to pay less than $60,000 if I file CHapter 13? Can I get rid of the lien in Chapter 7? ANy help is really appreciated. Thank you.

I plan on retiring in about 3 years. Should I pay off my refinanced home loan and put that money in some sort of investment or pay it off in the next two to three years? I would have to dip in to my IRA with no penalty. It would be roughly 10% of my savings.
