My boss told me yesterday that she is going to teach me to do all of the accounts payables. I am very scared to take over this task. I am very willing to learn and am capable to do this task, I just don't want to screw anything up. Are there any tips that you can give me? I already do the order entry and all of the invoicing and a lot of the other data work here, but ap is all new to me....

Thanks in advance.

The deviousness of ripping off is worse than ever. It is true the walks which I`ve been running since 1990 are NOT listed on the London Stock Exchange. But they are unique and thus the reason I expect for the emerging megacapitalist attitude. It`s a thinly-disguised attempt to rip off and do better (slicker, more professionally) what I`ve been doing on a low-key, improvisational basis.

It`s a bit the same as ripping off a busker; except that this lady (moi) is a best-selling biographer; megastar interviewer emeritus; vigorous travel writer; and latterly street market courier.

So why don`t the fascists simply give it up? This is mine. I`m not going to roll over and play dead simply because you want my money/copyright.

Say a company is being sued and they know they are in the wrong. The legal counsel says the penalty will be around 5 million. Would you be better off not reporting anything until it is settled or should you make an accrual for the estimated amount?

A little story. For some reason my employer decided to stop my direct deposit on my paychecks. So me thinking I had money in my bank account I went on spending as i normally do. To my shock I check in a few days that I have a negative balance on my acct. So I check with my employer and sure enough my check is sitting there waiting to be cashed and it never went out to DD.

So anyways I finally deposited the paycheck to my bank (JPM Chase) and now the money is in Present Balance but not in available balance? Why is this? I gave the check to the bank on Friday and its Wednesday when can I use the money? I have a negative balance of -$10.56 still.

Hi there all,

I need to send some money to a local branch of Union Bank Of India in India. I wanted to know If anybody has had any experiences with their service as I understand it is relatively new, not even a year I think since the launch of the service. The only thing stopping me is that they use timesofindia as the agent and their own direct service remit2india,com has had so many bad reviews. In fact I was going to go through remit2india until a sales rep called and harassed me into sending £3000. Which of course I didn't. Which then led me to check up on them and find the bad reviews.

I will be most probably go with ICICI but UBI sounds ok, I'm just not comfortable with them using timesofindia to do the work.

Any experiences and/or suggestions.

Thanks.

Whats the fastest and easiest way to do this? Is there a way to use cell phones, or instant messengers? What do you recommend and how is it done?

I have worked for a company for coming up on 2 years. In that time, I have received neither a review nor a raise. I plan to ask for a review on my 2 year anniversary with the company. I make $14.50 an hour and it's just not going to cut it anymore. I do a good job and I work hard. The cost of living in Alaska compared with what I make is a joke. I have been working in the real estate industry for 3.5 years now. 14.50 was great for starting out but now...?
What do you all think is fair for a raise?

As an internet service provider, we have modems that can be rented by customers, and these modems can be returned for credit when customers no longer use our service. So, where should this thing go in the income statement? Is it considered as an inventory? Is there a depreciation associated with it? Your help would be greatly appreciated!
