Bulk Notifications for Urgent Information?

Hello, I'm in a business where I need to let 200 people know certain information, as quickly as possible. I need them to know to get on the computer at a certain time to buy an item. Whats the fastest and easiest way to do this? Is there a way to use cell phones, or instant messengers? What do you recommend and how is it done?

BTW when I say, Urgent, I need them to get to their pc within 5min, so email won't work, as they would have to constantly check that.

set up a mailing list in your e-mail and send it simultaneously to all of them. It would take WAY too long to make 200 phone calls. You could also send out a snail-mail mass mailing a few days before the event that you need them to know about. In that mailing, tell them WHEN to be on line for the e-mails.
