I have to write a resume. I heard that I can find free templates... or like fill in the space things... is this true? Where can I find them. How much do they cost? Is there any free ones? I have had alot of space in between jobs... is that ok?

Yes, it's true. The sites below give you free resume samples, as well as free cover letters for resumes.

For the space in between jobs, do you have excuses, like you have to look after a sick parent/grandparent, you attended a course, you went for a holiday, you were not well and need treatment or just a break, etc.

I used this resume writing service in my area, this is the email address, (resume.help50@yahoo.com) you should try them, it only cost me $35.00 and I got a great job from this new resume, I never thought about the format that they use but the turn around time was less then 24 hrs. I would have to say it was the best service I have ever used and it was worth every dime. Also they let me pay through paypal.

If you have MS Word, you can go to http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/CT101448941033.aspx

It's OK to have some time between jobs, as long as you can explain what you were doing during that time without having it sound negative.
