Bar maid? You can be a bartender or a cocktail waitress. Both of these jobs can vary highly due to tips. Some cocktail waitresses in Las Vegas can earn over $100,000 a year due to tips, but bartenders will rarely see that kind of money.

You usually get minimum wage and then your tips on top of that. So it really depends on where you get a job at but it pays pretty well here in southern california

That depends on a person's experience as a bartender and also if that person knows how to mix drinks or merely pour shots or beers. Either way, you usually make a LOT in tips, so it's pretty cool.

they get paid minimum and even sub minimum, but they more than make up for the shortfall in TIPS. It is up to each individual exactly what they will or will not do for tips.
