Okay, I took financial accounting a year ago and have fogotten a few things. My current accounting instructor asked our class if we knew

1. Is shipping included in price paid?
2. Is shipping ever considered an expense?
3. How do we account for shipping in journal entries?

Nobody could answer his questions so he made us search for the answers. They are due tomorrow. Unfortunately I sold my Financial Accounting book back to the bookstore last year because I needed the $. Now I wish I had it but can't afford to buy it back :( Please Help!

I find it hard to work out the logic here. Why dont they enforce paying for insurance and/or signed delivery confirmation? Having the option of letting people save $1~$2 encourages sellers to save time and effort and only offer regular shipping. Similarly, suppose sellers offer multiple reduced risk shipping options, the money savings still encourages buyers to choose the cheapest mailing methods.

I guess I learned my lesson, but even so, I sure hope I can get my mail safely without having to buy insurance and pay extra for delivery confirmation. I mean, packages should be delivered to people, not front porches. They don't have the ability to sign off the delivery anyways.

I mean if the buyer is wanting whatever it is then why wouldn't someone accept cash on delivery.

I have an 1889 Morgan Dollar with no marking at all above the D and the O in dollar, I think that means it came from the mint in Philly, but I just cannot seem to find an average value on the coin. I see one coin worth 17000 dollars and another worth 10... PLEASE HELP ME!

I do Administrative work making $13.00 an hour. I will be getting more responsibilities because this lady got fired. She do did Admin work as well. I do not know how much she made. The boss will meet with me soon and I don't want to sell myself short. My friend says $15.00. I can name numerous tasks but to give you details. I work for a company that services beer systems so our customers are restaurants and bars and some homes. We do out of state jobs as well. Then the person who has the email address could specify a destination on a website where all their letters are to be delivered, such as their workplace.

This would cut down, and eventually eliminate the need for time-consuming daily postal rounds in residential areas, and open the postal market effectively to competition, thus eliminating the negative influence of postal unions on this service.
