What you are describing doesn't sound like any US banknote ever printed. The only $100,000 bill ever printed by the US is the Series 1934 Gold Certificate, which was only intended for transactions between banks, and is illegal for private citizens to own. It has a portrait of Woodrow Wilson on it, and is signed by Morgenthau as secretary of the treasury.

There must be a lot of these floating around the Philippines. I see this same question asked at least twice a month. I have answered this same question at least six times previously.

ADDED LATER: Here is a link to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing web site showing a photo of the US $100,000. If yours doesn't look like this, then yours is not real. Also, make note of the photo caption. This note really is illegal for private citizens to own. Even if yours was genuine (unlikely, based on your description), you wouldn't be able to redeem it.

I would like to see your photo, but I'm not about to leave my e-mail address out here in the clear. You may contact me through Yahoo Answers (and I see you do not have that feature enabled on your profile, otherwise I would have contacted you that way).
