My father is going through an ugly divorce. Everything seems to going real bad in his and my life (I'm his son/I live with him). We're broke and left with practically nothing. Recently my father received an e-mail, saying he won the "European Lottery". At first my father didn't want to tell me about it, he just said that he was pretty sure we would be getting some money, a lot of it!!!! He made a lot of plans and said that if this went through, we would be "free". I kept on asking him about the credibility of such e-mail. He told me not to worry about it. When I checked one of the e-mails myself, it looked like a total (excuse my French) f_k_n joke!!+ email was sent from a @yahoo.com (how reputable is that?) if anything it should have been @uk.org, right? I Had to break the sad news to him, but he swears it's true. I keep on telling him to watch out, because he's gone get screwed over (it's all a scam), but he won't listen!!Help!! I feel frustrated that I have to babysit a 53yr old man

If you use bodog.com and deposit using an electronic check, and then the check bounces due to insufficient funds in your bank account, can bodog do anything. They claim they will report you to a third party collection agency and report you to the experian etc. However, isn't online gambling in the US illegal? Would the collection agency have any right to collect on an illegal debt? Not to mention they never ask for you Social Security #. If the bank knew the checks were going to an illegal gambling site wouldnt they cancel the checks anyways?

My neighbor and I babysit kids together in our neighborhood. People think this is great because there are two of us. People normally pay us each $5 an hour. I'm 14 and my friend is 12. Is this the right amount of money? We babysat 3 kids together for three hours and we each got only $15 each. I don't really think this is enough. Do you? I really need more money because my family is on a tight budget. What should I charge per hour (or per kid) and what am I supposed to say to the people that I babysit? Am I supposed to say something like: I charge ____ per hour and you're not paying enough? What should I say? And what should I charge? Please help!!!
