Im shortly going to the US for a holiday to visit friends, wondered what items people would suggest I purchase over there to bring back to sell on ebay etc, My aim is to make around £1500 is possible, maybe more expensive items such as watches? etc

customs might want to speak to you,

ds work in both countrys
and a hat full of games before they are released may sell

As already suggested, Customs & VAT charges will wipe out any saving .. (our Government (and the EU in general) are only too happy to rip-off it's Citizens for every penny they can steal from us, and by imposing such barriers to the personal importing of non-EU goods, guarantee we pay 50% over the odds retail for just about everything ..)

If you purchase one of each item, throw away all the packaging (plus any manuals and receipts etc) and pack it all in your suitcase, you will almost 100% 'get away with it', especilaly if it looks as if the goods have been 'used' a bit ...

However then you can only sell them as 'second hand', so there's nothing much to be made either way
