Here is the question I have:

I am recording two complete accounting cycles. For the one in 2004 it states at the end for the adjusting section, "Recorded $2,100 of accrued salaries at the end of 2004". Then, at the very beginning of 2005 it states "Paid $2,100 cash for the salaries accrued at the end of the previous year."

We have put this on a T chart, and I am not sure where each will go on each year and on each side of the Dr. and Cr.

Thanks for your help. If this doesn't make sense, send me an email.

Own a 2003 $1 bill. Has the Federal Reserve Bank of NY stamp printed slightly to top left of Treasury Stamp. There's nothing where the stamp should be...
Any idea how much it's worth or if a website has an image of this with a pricing?

thanks.

Hi I just wanted to get some diverse opinions on this topic that will be crucial to an assignment I am completing for uni. My question is, audits are important for companies as they certify that the proceedings of the company are legit and so forth.
But there are times when certain factors affect the efficiency of an audit. Would you (the community familiar with business and finance) agree that the main reason audits cannot be completed on time is because of a lack of cooperation between the auditor and the client? or is there another factor that affects the efficiency of an audit?

specific and extensive answers are most welcome

The "Do Not Call" list will soon be offered in Canada, and I would like to take advantage of it to block myself from telemarketers. I still want to receive calls from businesses and services who I am already a customer with (my phone company, my bank, etc.). Is there a way to allow calls from those companies, or will they be disallowed because I would be on the list?

The cost of producing a number of items x is given by C=mx + b, in which b is the fixed cost and m is the variable cost (the cost of producing one more item).
(a) If the fixed cost is $40 and the variable cost is $10, write the cost equation.
(b) Graph the cost equation.

I had a mortgage company call me and say that they can lower my monthly payment $140-200 a month, and then I spoke to them again and they said they might be able to say me up to $400.00 dollars. Is this some kind a skeem? I checked out the company online and it looks legit. How can they actually lower it that much, will I be paying them to much, where it wouldn't be worth it?
