The biggest and most important effect of abolishing the currency will be get rid of BLACK MONEY and TRANSACTION based on the grey money will be put to an end.. And Govt can put an eye over earning and expenditure of an individual. No matter if it may be any politician or a govt employee or any civilian....

Street vendors and small shops like hair dressers don't have bank connection. Until last fall a fairly good Ace Hardware near here did not.
