Cost equation : C = 10x + 40

If 2 items are produced, x = 2, so the Cost of producing the 2 items is C = 10*2 + 40 = 20 + 40 = 60

If 3 items are produced, x = 3, so the Cost of producing the 3 items is C = 10*3 + 40 = 30+ 40 = 70
