I read this article http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,288635,00.html
that explains that Sprint wireless is cancelling over 1000 contracts because those customers complain too much. They have sent out between 1000 and 1200 termination letters giving customers 1 month to find another service provider. Sprint says these customers take up too much customer service time for problems Sprint feels are "resolved" problems.

Um, if the problems were resolved, why are your customers still upset and still calling? Obviously the problems are not resolved and instead of providing quality customer service it sounds to me like Sprint would rather cut their ties with the complainers and sweep those problems under the rug.

I'm sorry but I expect good service for what I pay for my cell provider. I actually see this as an advantage to those who are being terminated, they are being let out of a contract and can find good service somewhere else!

What is your opinion?? I think it's bad business.

i was told that it would take up to a year to learn this position little did I no that the year would fly by in 8 weeks and now I am not allowed to make a mistake with having to go all the way back and start training all over again which confuses me even more. If I do have a question she doesn't have time as she told me my position is on 10% of the business and she has others to manage that need her however the others have been here a year or more. I am very furstrated as everyone around her seems intimided by her so I feel there is no on to talk to about the situtation. ANY and all suggestions are welcome. signed me out the frying pan and it to the fire what was I thinking

If people want to sell their shares but no-one wants to buy them then what do those shareholders do?

Also if no-one wants to trade at all in a company, then what happens next and what about the money the company made from the initial share offering at the start?

Thanks x

I was wondering what is a good thing to sell that makes a decent profit. Like at the swap meets or e bay? I was thinking silver because I can get it cheap from Peru.

I worked over 40 hrs. a week, no overtime pay, see details????

I worked for 4 yrs at a marina/resort and many many weeks well over 40 hrs. I thought because I worked 9mos out of the year, laid off in the winter, I wasn't eligible for time and a half. Recently I found out that I was, and that has me a little ticked off....I live in a small town, everyone knows everyone. So I was a little hesitant to pursue filing a claim to get those monies...but the more I think about it, the more irked I get......If someone owed you 4 yrs of overtime, would you file a claim even though your friendship with these people will end...We aren't "friends" in the sense of the word, we're friendly, but don't socialize together...I'm not wanting them to get into trouble, but it is a lot of money, and the owner should have paid me. What do you think???
Additional Details

I don't work there anymore because instead of drawing unemployment for a couple of months, I went to work for someone that was needing help, and not scrounging during the winter was so good, that I decided to just keep the year round job...that has been 2yrs now. Didn't leave other job on bad terms at all.

In the last month, I've won several eBay items, which I thought were a great deal. Unfortunately, the seller(s) ended up backing out of the whole thing, and refunding my money (against my wishes). Why can't eBay or Paypal do anything about this? Why are they so wimpy? Aren't there any legal grounds I can use to force these idiots to settle up? One guy
delayed me for more than six weeks with lame excuses, before he finally gave in. I had to pester him about a dozen times, before he told me wasn't going to send my stuff, then he refunded my money.

I don't want to bid for something before I know this, and ebay's user guides or w/e aren't helping much at all and they just give out the information a 2 year old kid wouldn't know, so yea.

I want to know if you mail the money order to the person or something else?

Also, is there any other alternative that some sellers take, OTHER than credit cards (pay pal)?, cause I googled pay pal and they have a whole website of people telling of scams and things like that with ebay sellers, and I'm not too hot about using a credit card online anyway, you think differently? Try to convince me why cause I do however like the convinence of using a credit card opposed to the whole getting money out of the bank, and making a money order thing etc.

I have enough money to pay my bills, but it seems a lot of the time, they come at the wrong time. The payment clears before our paycheck gets put in and so the overdraft kicks in and then I owe the overdraft plus fees. What am I supposed to do to prevent that? I am definitely living paycheck to paycheck and it hurts. Should I try a debt consolidation loan to lower my payments. Any suggestions would help. Thanks!

I think the digital sign is the way of the future since most gas stations seem to be switching to them (it avoids having to go outside and switch the little plastic digits with the long pole). I am intrested in investing in the Company that patented this if there is a sole company that makes these. Is there one or is it just a bunch or small companys and the gas stations are just getting them potentially just about anywhere. Ive tried researching them and havent came up with much...if you can help thank you.

What I would like to know is if an asset is booked at its historical cost, and it's depreciated using the life of the asset, (the historical cost, and projected salvage value at the end of useful life), then why is the "net book value" of property, plant, and equipment not equal to current fair market value?

Im sick of hearing about how they have the best prices! for one i think there are plenty of businesses that compete with them and two WHO CARES! you might save 5 or 10 cents on tube socks but in the end your letting this corporate behemoth to get away with.
(1) Not paying their employees a liveable wage, Its so bad that many Wal-Mart employees are collecting off of social service programs ..Paid for by taxpayers!
(2) Not giving thier employees a viable health care program, Instead they instruct their emploees how to get Goverment subsidized health care easier..Again paid for by taxpayers.
(3) they encourage companies to relocate (outsource) to other contries when they cannot get goods from the for lower prices, Hey Wal Mart your idea that you can set a price has outsourced hundreds of thousands of jobs ..but they dont care and niether will the public until its sent into a depression and there no longer is a middle class!!!

Thats a hell of a price to pay to save 10 cents on sock

Today I made Paypal personal account (the one which is for free) and I gave them my VISA card info too. After 3 hours I deleted this account. When I checked my VISA I found out that they have taken one british pound from me. But I didn't buy enything or use this account at all. Why did they took money?
English is my second language and maybe I didn't understand something in agreement but I'm pretty sure that personal account is for free. How can they take money and for what, if I never used that account? The account existed only for 3 hours!

Please help!
