If I do have a question she doesn't have time as she told me my position is on 10% of the business and she has others to manage that need her however the others have been here a year or more. I am very furstrated as everyone around her seems intimided by her so I feel there is no on to talk to about the situtation. ANY and all suggestions are welcome. signed me out the frying pan and it to the fire what was I thinking

Yes know the type, wants to know every detail, and no matter what you choose they have a better way of doing it right! Two things first you are the newby so in effect you have to earn their trust, everything you do will be wrong so ask and do it exactly the way they want. Next step is keep them informed of everything, let them make all the decisions, but pass on all information. Took me a year to deal with one like that, but now no problems. (It will be a rough year but in the end it will work out) hang in there

You must "deal" with her. Ask her to do things that she will do anyway, and say "thanks for doing that for me" .. You must get the upper hand on the alpha mental position. Trust me. Sooner the better.

She is being completely unreasonable. Don't you have a HR department? Speak to them.
