I'm doing an assignment on risk management of a small business. In the event of a gunman entereing a real estate office, pointing a gun at the property officer and only taking $100 in cash in the robbery. Who/What is the asset in this instance? Is it the employee or the $100 or is it both?

Why can't you just discount a negative cash flow at the same discount rate as a positive cash flow? Doesn't the time value of money principal work the same way in reverse? Someone please clue me in on this.

I have a 5 dollar bill that I found randomly in my money the other day. It's dated Series 1963. Below is a scanned image of it. It's actually in pretty good condition. It would defintely pass the vending machine test.

Im a little confused by this book of stamps that I got. They are fundraising stamps that says breast cancer USA first class.

But there is no postage rate? I think they are 36 cents? But I am not sure.....

I work for an attorney who has a client whose father passed in 2004. The deceased's wife just recently passed as well. Our client is looking for his father's cd's and bonds. He was sure that his stepmom would have left the cd's and bonds in her will to her stepson. The personal representative of the stepmom claims he has no knowledge of the cd's. We think he is lying. We don't know which financial agency issued the cd's/bonds. We have our client's deceased father's social security number. Any thoughts would be helpful.

Ok here we go.

I bought flights online with my debt card and fought nothing of it.

That was 2 months ago, but the company did not take the money untill yesderday!

So there was no enough money to pay for them (£302) So the bank gave them the money, even though there was not enough money to give them, I do not have an over draft and I am only on a debit card account, meaning if i do not have the money in my account I can not get goods.

Now I do not get paid till end of month so I cant pay my bills untill then as when ever money goes into account bank going to take it back right away, im in a big mess and i am due to see manager tomorrow, what avenue do you think I should try?

I have been taking courses online for my BSBA I am considering switching majors to accounting. Has anyone recieved ther accounting degree online? Was the material difficult to understand taking the courses this way? Where did you get your online degree from? Did you continue and get your Masters? was it online? MAc, MTax, or MBA?
