just wondering if you can and if it is worth it..

You can write them off at the same price a thrift store would have charged for them. It is worth it because it is a good way to make sure you don't keep a lot of clutter in your closets, because someone could benefit from them, and because whatever you get for a tax deduction is easy money in your pocket (rather than in the IRS's pocket.)

when the staff ask you: would u like a reciept for your donation?... take it to your CPA and get your tax break. It's the American way!
