I sell cd's to people and they have about 15 songs on them when they order them.

How much should I charge for making them this cd.

Please help

If you're burning copywritten material you can't make enough off of the CD's to effectively manage your risk without pricing yourself out of the market.

Download enough songs you will be sued by the RIAA. At a couple of thousand dollars per infraction plus reasonable legal fees (if you settle) you'd have to pimp a lot of silicone to break even.

I would advise showing people BitComet and Isohunt and letting them decide for themselves how much their IP is worth.

Enough to pay the fine, costs and expenses to the court and the legal fees to your attorney if the music is not yours. Also, enough to compensate you for the income you will loose when you are house in your local jail or prison.

if it is your music, and you are trying to get your name out there I'd not charge more then enough to cover your cost.

If you're making mix CD's with other people's music, you're probably already breaking the law, and should stop.
