How to wind-up or close private limited company?

I want to wind-up a private limited company which does'nt have any business. it does not have any transaction, no bank account, no cash, no assets. How to close it. I want to know the procedure,

file the proper documentation of the company's financial statement, bank account (if any) then head straight to department of registrar and either strike it off (dormant) or pay balance and get it closed.
