Ok so I have to take this class for Intro to Business Information Systems and here is the description:

This course provides an overview of business information systems and the software, hardware and data resources used by business organizations. Included is the development, integration and application of information systems security is discussed with emphasis on the role of the end user in making a system secure. Several common end-user software applications are introduced.

Basically, I have no idea what any of that means and I'm not very familiar with computer or business terms should this be a hard class? What does it sound like I will be learning--already emailed the teacher but she didn't answer. Thanks

I heard some companies would play a trick like this: they build a blog and customers would share their opinions on the products there, and some employees would pretend that they were customers and said all the good things about the company and their products. Do you know anything like this that has really happened? (Especially the bug companies) What do you think about this? Can this behavior be considered unethical or do you think it's just a marketing strategy or even a briliant one? What are the pros and cons of a company doing this? hopefully you'll be willing to share your opinions with me, thanks in advance!

Ok, I was "recruited" and it seemed legit but, the more i thought about it the more it seemed like a pyramid. I was the youngest at the meeting which, included lawyers, doctors, and real estate agent. I felt that they wouldn't fall for something illegal. I'm kinda interested because I need cash but, They failed to fully explain what I would be getting into. So, I'm turning to the all of you for your opinions and such.
