It is next to impossible to exchange foreign coins due to the expense in handling them. I have gone on many world tours and have always been told so spend them or give to a charity at the airport.

you can exchange currency at the airport or at most of your local commercial banks
you should call around to your local commercial banks so you dont waste your time and gas driving around looking for a bank that does it

some banks will try this at their more effective branches. or you are able to visit the airport in the previous your vacation and do it there, yet you received't get the suitable change price. the suitable ingredient to do might want to be to attend till you get there and use your debit card, once you've one, to get Pesos out of an ATM.

I would take it to your local bank like Fool in the Rain said, I wouldn't waste my time and gas driving around. Usually, your local bank would know what to do with it.
