In the Hamada Equation: Beta[leveraged] = Beta[unleveraged]*[1+(1-t)(D/E)] what tax rate (t) are you supposed to use? Is this the overall effective tax rate for the company (income tax expenses/pretax income)?

I went with him during the initial purchase and the slick talking salesman at Sears sold him a stove and told him it would be exactly the same thing but in the color black. Well, dad was a little confused, and I figured I would just let him order whatever he wanted to keep his dignity and he purchased the stove with his Sears card. I was at work when the product arrived and was installed, and was appalled because it was not what he ordered. The salesman sent a black stove, but not what he ordered. Even dad knew it was not what he ordered. I called Sears to tell them and they told me the signatures and the order number were the same. I think the slick salesman was trying to sell something to an old man and got over on him.
Dad landed in a nursing home. No one had POA, and no one was sure of where his money went or came. The stove didnt get paid for. Now sears wants someone to pay for it. I paid the money to bury dad. Do I pay for the stove or drop it. Is it my responsiblity?

Like amway/quixstar. That's the same company by the way,

Excel, Nikken, prepaid legal services.

I know a ton of people who have tried them but yet to see one make a lot of money or little or any money shall i say.

I read it last week from one site,he said he is a very rich businessman from Dubai and now sick with cancer and have only few months to live,he has already distributed some of his wealth and riches to some institutions and still he is needing somebody to help him to withdraw his account from the bank of England about some 50 million pounds,
I only wonder why there are people like this? and my question is ; what are their purposes for doing this? The whole universe is very big, I believe even how wealthy he is, his wealth and riches is not even enough if he will give it to the needy, why do he have to look for somebody to help him to withdraw his money? he even have a picture in the hospital for the people to believe him.

He asked questions about details and wanted photos so could be serious buyer. We exchanged several emails over a few days. But I'm nervous due to the international nature because of all the frauds. He said he'd pay me this month, but not ship until next. I don't know how T/T's work and if they are safe for me. Am I being naive to even consider it?
