Like amway/quixstar. That's the same company by the way,

Excel, Nikken, prepaid legal services.

I know a ton of people who have tried them but yet to see one make a lot of money or little or any money shall i say.

a pyramid scheme? you mean some thing like Social Security? that is a real pyramid scheme.
when people put pyramid scheme and MLM in the same sentence they are sadly misinformed.
they are commonly confusing things.
now your job is a true pyramid, your boss is on top and never you.
most people do not understand that with any MLM company - you are an independent agent and your efforts dictate you profits.
the people who make good or great money are those how actually learn and earn, not just the ones who get in first.
i know a number of people who went to College got a degree and no longer use the degree. along with millions who attend and quit for whatever . So Colleges are a pyramid scheme? only one top dog, always recruiting new people in ( cash ).
you get out of an company what you put in.
they survive and prosper because they move products and services just like WalrusMart.
that is business.
oh understand when you go to a job - you sell your body mind spirit at the highest price you can the employer buys your body mind spirit at the lowest price they can with the intention of never letting you get to the top.
do know what tax breaks you are missing?

You are probably speaking of MLMs or Multi Level Marketing. I would not recommend going into one in a sales position as the work is not worth the money and you may possibly even lose your investment. The only people who really benefit from this are the ones on top, most likely not you, so don't give them your time and certainly not your money. You may enjoy working in an MLM but don't think its going to be easy, you are paid to work.

pyramid schemes are illegal. You are misrespresenting these companies. I am a prepaid legal asociate and I make about $1000 very part time, and I am moving up to full time. So, yes people do make money and no, they are not pyramid schemes.
