A CS is person who performs fiduciary duties in the organisation. Every company having a paid up capital of Rs 50 crs or more must appoint a wole time company secretary. A CS performs functions such as looking after the day to day legal affairs of the company, conducting AGM, EGM and other general meetings. A CS acts as a laison officer. Practically a CS is one of the top management persons whose authentication on some specified documents is a must.

Ours is a real beast, who seems hell bent on trouble causing and being as obstructive as possible. Asking her for a paperclip is such a big deal! you wouldnt believe, thankfuly I hear on the grapevine she is looking for another job, well she had better make it soon as was told yesterday they plan on giving her the boot!
