I am thinking about ordering a wedding dress online as ive found one i love but the online store states that they are not responsible for any customs charges for being shipped internationally. What exactly is this and how much will i have to pay if anything? thanks.

I financed a car from Pristine Motors Limited in Amityville NY. I pay every month on the 4th and so yesterday I went to drop off my check and as I pulled up to the lot it was empty, the driveway had a chain on it, and the office was cleared out. I called the cell phone of the dealer and he siad that they changed lots... but there was no forwarding address anywhere and I know that most of their cars were were in horrible, unsafe conditions and many people have been very unhappy with them. I had MAJOR issues my self.

How would I go about finding out it the company went out of business, went bankrupt, or got shut down?

And if so, do I still have to pay them?

Well the job pay period is monthly but every time it's time for payment there's a problem the first time it was that he didn't have all my information, so i made sure every thing was correct way before next pay time so now mind you he has contracts with different companies so i know for sure he has his payment when I realize my funds are not in my account i call him he doesn't answer for a week when he does he says he heard i wasn't working i say ok I have the time slips each manager signed he gets beligerent and hangs up the phone please tell me how to handle this?

I ordered an expensive piece of electronics off ebay. It was used but said to work. I paid 180 dollars for shipping on a 1000 purchase. Insurance wasn't really discussed, I guess I thought it was a matter of course.
Item arrived badly beat up and non functional. It wasn't even packaged. Simply laid down in a cardboard box (it weighs 70 lbs) and shipped. We spent months going through the shipping claims process. So long I am apparently no longer covered through paypal.
Not only was the item damaged, but it differed significantly from what was described in the auction. I have all our emails, receipt and pictures of the item.
Do I have a strong small claims case? If so, why? And what can I say in a threatening email to this guy to get my money back, so we don't have to go to court? (he's a college kid, seems otherwise responsible, I want to scare some sense into him).

I am trying to buy 500 shares of a certain company, and the ticker symbol is ***.ISS I dont want ppl to know what the symbol is...and I can type in the ***.I but it wont let me finish typing the SS that still have to be added....what should I do???

Personally I think not.
I would not like to see the Ryanair arrogance and contempt for customers extended to Aer Lingus.
On the other hand, we don't need the Aer Lingus cabin staff attitude to, and contempt for, customers.
Aer Lingus staff tend to have a very superior attitude which grates with customers.

There were lots of (supposed) reasons why the price of oil recently rose to record levels -- hurricane season approaching, instability in the Middle East, disruptions with the Alaskan supply, etc, etc.

However, in the recent days, the price of oil has suddenly dropped 25%-30%. What happened to generate that large price change? What are the explainable causes?
