Personally I think not.
I would not like to see the Ryanair arrogance and contempt for customers extended to Aer Lingus.
On the other hand, we don't need the Aer Lingus cabin staff attitude to, and contempt for, customers.
Aer Lingus staff tend to have a very superior attitude which grates with customers.

I don't agree with previous comments about Aer Lingus staff - I think they are fine. Ryanair taking over Aer Lilngus would, in my view, lower the standards of Aer Lingus & it would reduce the essential competition that we have at present.

I have flown with both, give me Aer Lingus any day, I haven't noticed that their staff is arrogant. I have always been treated very well. Ryanair is a budget airline which has a habit of treating it's customers as cattle, however, that said you get what you pay for. I think it would be a bad thing for those wishing to visit Ireland if Aer Lingus gets into Ryanair's hands. Certainly the tourists would lose out and as a consequence the tourist industry.

i'm guessing you're closer to Liverpool Airport than you're to the two Manchester or Blackpool Airports. you're consequently talking a pair of flight of around 50 minutes optimum. at the same time as i'm no longer partial to Ryanair it might, in the circumstances, seem smart to apply them for here motives - The airport is extra handy. The value ticket value will probable be extra much less costly. The flight is a short one, so convenience isn't in all threat a precedence. Their punctuality checklist is amazingly sturdy. in case you may handle with basically hand bags then remember - you're allowed one bag/case in basic terms. the burden could no longer exceed 10kg. The measurements could no longer exceed 55x40x20cm.

Its only a couple of weeks ago they were screaming for compensation from the govt. for the security situation.. but they've got billions to buy another airline?

I haven't ever flown with RuinAir or Aer Fungus, so I can't comment on their customer care LOL.
