Has anyone done research to find out if there is an optimal day to make automatic purchases of mutual funds? Is the 2nd of the month better than the 18th? Is the 5th of the month better than the 25th?

I make monthly automatic purchases of mutual funds and I am just looking for the best day to choose. Does it make any real difference over 20 years or so?

w? Can the dealer keep you from selling at a profit even when what you see on the screen is a profit share price?

r, or do I need to get permission from the state regulators or do I need to create a scarcity by buying shares off the market so that the dealer has to charge a higher price after that and that drives up the price? As I understand it, the dealer has to charge 1/8 of a point for each bundle of stocks that is purchased above the stock availability ceiling.

I have six different investments pooled into one account. I want to know how to figure out what the rate of return is over the life of my investment.

I have the following rates of return on each: 4.7%, 15.3%, (19)%, 60%,94.7% and 39.6% during the life of investment. How do I find figure what the average rate of return is? My statements do not have that information listed and when I called customer service they told me that I would have to do it manually but couldn't tell me how to do it!

Thanks in advance for taking the time to help me with this question.

I have signed a mortgage in principal agreement with my mortgage advisor to get a mortgage which at the time was the best on the market. However, as it took about a month for the actual mortgage offer to arrive, the interest rate on the offer has increased, and would work out to cost us about £700 over the lifetime of the agreement. This is despite the mortgage advisor guarantee us upon signing the mortgage in principal agreement that the rate was then secured. What can I do about this and who can I complain to?

Im with GCI from past year, and since i had major losses i changed my trading pattern to have small profits (2-5 pips) and small losses of upto 10pips. Recently under good volatile market condition i started making good money. I achieved my daily target but still i kept on making. After three days later i have experienced that my account got short by 3910$. I spoke to GCI guys and come to know that i have been found of doing scalping and hence they have reversed my those both days transaction. and make my account less by 3910$ as i was scalping with there feed ad not trading.

My question is why they havent done before as i am doing this trading pattern what they call scalping from past 6 months. So why now????

Why they havent done when i went in losses, and they could have reveresed my transaction and compensated me?

Does this reversing the trade is actually possible ?????? That you can turn your three days back trades????

Somebody pls advise and help me that why they have

Hello everybody,
First of all thank you for taking time and looking at my post.

This semester I have taken international finance class, in which we are playing a stock game throughout the semester. To be short, all students should buy one stock each week. And at the end we will count who earned the most money.
So, what should I consider while buying a stock? And, while selling? I'm asking for the most common intuitive answers, not expert analysis...
And also, where can I get data on stocks traded on Korean Stock Exchange.

Thank you..

Any advice for a teen who wants to buy stocks for the first time? I'm thinking about getting a dividend re-investment plan for Pfizer or getting a S&P 500 index. Also, what happens if I'm interested in investing in a stock that is in Europe? How do I get started and do I need a stock broker?
