I am planning on putting money into 2 mutual funds the Vanguard Wellesley Income Fund Investor and Vanguard European Stock Index Fund Investor. I am 19 I am not sure if it is aggressive enough 2/3rd stock. It will be under a Roth IRA so I can only fork over $8,000 (2006 and 2007) no april 15th yet. I am not sure if this is a good idea or a horrible Idea foreign trade seems sweet but not so sure.

How do you exchange mutual funds under your Roth IRA.... I want to switch funds but it is below $3,000 right now.... I have to wait until it is over $3,000? Why can't I just exchange for what it is worth and add more to make the new fund $3,000?

Companies keep on expanding.Employees and CEOS keep on making money but not common share holders.Directors are appointed without sufficient proxy votes to form a cocus to make decisions to their advantage but not to the advantage of common share holders. In the meantime storms of Political effect, regional imbance, recession etc.come in and the common shreholder is killed in waiting, waiting for years.for companies like Microsoft,Intel,Dell,AMD and scores others.

What is the best way to "play around" with a little bit of cash, not too much, about $200 right now until I learn about the market. If I use a website like e*trade or tdameritrade, how many different stocks should I buy or should I put all of the $ into one because it is such a small amount of $. I would like to make a little bit of $ as well.

List ETF's, respectable stocks and mutual funds only. Securities that will at least pay 1.50% in dividend yield if not more.

I follow a number of stocks, and I'd like to listen in on their quarterly and annual conference calls as they happen. However, most times I don't find out about these until after they happen.

Is there any service where I can get email alerts or summaries of upcoming investor conference calls for a specific set of stocks?

I'd like to put in, say, GOOG, AAPL, GS, and HANS, and either a) get an email a day ahead of time or so, or b) a web page I could visit to easily see the times?

I don't want to have to check all the individual company websites all the time to figure it out.

Thanks!

Is there anyone else out there that thinks that the stock market is dropping not because of mortgage rates but because of corruption? If so do you think that there are those who are trying to stabalize the market when it actually should fall a little bit, to reflect peoples disgust and distrust of corrupt corperations manipulating our buisness and political environment?
