Go to Yahoo.com and click on the Finance link. When you are at the finance page, enter in the symbol of the stock (company) you are interested in, or look up the symbol if you don't know it. It will then bring up a page with various info on the company. Click on "Key Statistics" on the left side of the page, and it will then bring up a bunch of various info. The number of shares outstanding can be found on the right side of the page under "trading information" category, subcategory "share statistics". Hope this helps.
