There is a new breed of IPOs coming to markets. However they may not be what some investors expect:

I know it depends on what you are investing in, health care and sanitation vs big business, but in general. My two favorites are Hilliary and McCain.

I keep hearing about the amazing opportunity to invest in Dubai and to do it totally tax free and I am wondering if anyone has any experience putting a portion of their portfolio in Dubai investments or if anyone has purchased investment real estate in Dubai?

I am finding it hard to find good quality research to justify the risk and because I know little about Dubai to begin with I am hesitant to invest...however, I am able to invest as little as $100k and buy an excellent property and from what is being advertised and reported, the appreciation in Dubai is HUGE and is expected to continue that way for years.

In addition, how risky is this country? Obviously that part of the world is somewhat mixed these days...should this be a concern?

All help is appreciated.

I don't want to put it in a bank (US$235,000). I need some liquidity so no land at this stage. Should I buy gold jewellary or art. I live in Japan and there is some wonderful art for sale here. Should I buy it and sell it when I get back to the West in a few years? I gold going up or down. I have never had excess money before and I can't just have it lying around in my apartment. Ideas please.

a few days ago i asked about luck and skill in stock trading i bought 100 shares of cintas (ctas) at about 40.00 i knew they were having a webcast after the market closed today. during the day it rose about 1.00% to 40.50, i thought about selling it thinking the webcast would have bad news. well i kept it and bad news came it dropped 6.67% in after hours trading.after reading that they had 37 consecutive years of growth in sales and earning to date ,and they had rcently raised their dividends and all that good stuff their share price is now 37 and change. shall i sell my 100 shares tomorrow to cut my losses or hold on to them for the longer term. i have alot of questions about stock trading but will stop here for today.if you remember my other question i would like to say thanks for all the great answers
