I just got 25K from my parents as a graduation gift, but am not how/where to invest the money. I have a steady job that supports my 401K, just looking for a smart way to invest. Am leaning towards using the money for down payment on a multi family unit. Thanks for your advice!

AMD stocks are now valued at about 13,48!!?! So my questions are: 1. Why has AMD stock price suffered that much (On march 2006 it's price was about 40 per share, now, March 2007, 13.48)? 2. Is it clever to invest now in AMD or Intel and why? 3. What would share price be, if Intel and AMD would agree on a merger creating thus monopoly(this question is hipothetical only)? 4. What can you say about AMD's managment?

When I'm looking at stock prices, I always wonder which part is the share. Like Google costs around 444$ right now, and I'm wondering if one share is that cost, and 2 shares, double that cost, and so on so on... And if you have 5$ invested in google, can you still say you have google stocks? Please be specific, thnxs!

I am new to the Forex scene, just started in January. I have invested $1,270 so far and I am down to a measly $340!!!!!!!!!
I have studied Japanese candlesticks, I know all the terminology, I have just grasped the concept of perallel trend lines and I am learning about the Fibonacci ratios but I am still getting hammered. Is there something I am missing about this market?

I have a mortgage, quite small and affordable, I'm about to have enough money to pay it off in full, would this be the best way to spend the money? Or would I be best investing it elsewhere?

so my local bank is offering me some stocks at $20 a pop, while the stocks are worth over $40, should I take the bait? I can afford to do it, but if I do, would be a good Idea just to keep them for a while. I've been a customer for over ten years, what's your take on this? thanks and let me know if I'm making any sense so I elaborate more

:) Of course I don't expect to find them all in one place, but I am in need of indices of:
(a) NASDAQ, DJIA, S&P 500,
(b) CAC, NIKKIE 225, FTSE
(c) SSE

all starting February 2007 onwards.

What're the good websites out there?

Cheers!
